Maybe everybody knows about this site already, but if not check out

    ftp.cdrom.com   /pub/cica/sounds

Good collection of sequencers, players, midi handling stuff.  For
starters, WinJammer2.3, WinJammerPro, WinMusic, Beatmaster, Encore,
Ezimp18, Muzika2, Mstud40, etc.  If you don't have it, get impvz130 --
great algorithmic improvisation software.  Pretty good game files on
another directory.  I had unusually fast downloading as well.
